The Director-General of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group (SUSSG), Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, who also serves as the Kaduna State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, has congratulated the group’s Woman Leader, Hajiya Jamila Maru, on the occasion of her 50th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued in Kaduna, Hon. Mamman Lagos described Hajiya Jamila as a committed and visionary leader whose contributions have significantly advanced women’s mobilisation efforts within the support group and across Kaduna State.
He praised her steadfastness, loyalty, and passion for grassroots engagement, noting that her leadership style continues to inspire many women to actively participate in governance and community development.
“As our woman leader marks her 50th birthday, we celebrate not only her life but also her unwavering dedication to the success of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group.
“Hajiya Jamila Maru has demonstrated exceptional commitment in mobilising women across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna State in support of Governor Uba Sani’s development agenda.” he said.
Hon. Lagos commended her for being a dependable pillar within the group, adding that her contributions have strengthened the administration’s interface with women, particularly in promoting inclusion, empowerment, and participation in policy implementation.
He prayed for God to grant her long life, sound health, and renewed strength to continue contributing positively to the growth of the support group and the development of the state.
“On behalf of the leadership and members of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group, I extend heartfelt congratulations to our dear sister and leader, Hajiya Jamila Maru, as she clocks 50,” Lagos added. “May Almighty Allah continue to bless her with wisdom, happiness, and fulfilment.”
Hajiya Jamila, widely admired for her humility and organisational skills, has been instrumental in coordinating women’s outreach activities, sensitisation programmes, and community-based empowerment initiatives under the banner of the SUSSG.
Her associates and supporters have also joined in celebrating her milestone, describing her as a bridge-builder and strong advocate for women’s inclusion in politics and governance.
