The Director-General of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group (SUSSG) and Kaduna State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has led members of the group on a solidarity visit to an APC Kaduna Central Senatorial aspirant, Hon. Yerima Shettima.
The visit, according to the group, was aimed at appreciating Shettima for his loyalty, commitment and continued support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its members.
Speaking during the visit, Mamman Lagos called on APC members to remain united and committed to the party as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He stressed the importance of unity among party stakeholders, saying sustained cooperation and mutual support would be necessary to strengthen the party’s structures across Kaduna State.
The SUSSG Director-General also reaffirmed the group’s commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, saying the group would continue to support the administration and its political programmes.
Mamman Lagos further pledged the support of SUSSG to APC candidates and stakeholders, urging members to work together towards achieving the party’s objectives in the 2027 elections.
He described the visit as part of efforts to strengthen relationships among party members and encourage greater collaboration ahead of the forthcoming electoral activities.
In his response, Shettima appreciated the SUSSG delegation led by Mamman Lagos for the visit, while reiterating his commitment to the APC and its leadership.
He called for continued unity, understanding and cooperation among party members, saying that a united party would be better positioned to mobilise its members and consolidate its structures ahead of 2027.
