Comrade Silas Adamu has been elected the pioneer President General of the Tsaunin Kura (Sabon Tasha GRA) Residents Association.
In his acceptance speech via Skype, he assured of ensuring all round development, vowing to do all within his ability in ensuring all round development of the area.
“A good leader is first a diplomat, and then a rascal. By my background coming from NLC, you don’t belong to any group. If it means me going to clean His Excellency, Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s shoes and ironing his clothes to bring development to the area, I will do it.
“Good leadership entails there is excellent followership. In providing excellent followership, all of us have made this epoch making event
“Therefore, I thank you for this confidence placed in me. I will contribute my quota, believing it will spur everyone to contributing to make it progress.
Those elected and returned are Mr Atta Onoja as Vice President, Barrister Dan Paul Fredericks (Secretary General), Mr. Patrick Fuman (Assistant Secretary), Mr. Appolos Shinkut (Financial Secretary) and Mr. Silas Jonah as Treasurer.
Others are Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson (Executive PRO), Mrs. Cecilia Dzingina, Jonathan Kure (Youth Leader), Emmanuel Zuahu (Internal Auditor) and Cletus Ogbonna (Welfare Officer).
They are expected to serve a tenure of two years, after which an election would be held.
The Sabon Tasha GRA General Assembly comprises of Zonal groupings; from A to D.
