One of the leading Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial aspirants for Kaduna Central, Hon. Usman Ibrahim, popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christian faithful across the senatorial district, Kaduna State and the country at large.
In a goodwill message issued on the occasion of Easter, the aspirant congratulated Christians on the successful completion of the Lenten season and the celebration of Easter, a period he described as symbolic of sacrifice, renewal, hope and victory of light over darkness.
Hon. Ibrahim noted that the Easter season offers a profound opportunity for reflection on the core values of love, compassion, tolerance and unity, which he said remain essential for building a peaceful and progressive society.
He urged residents of Kaduna Central and Nigerians in general to embrace these virtues in their daily lives, stressing the need for mutual respect and understanding among people of diverse religious, ethnic and political backgrounds.
The PDP chieftain emphasised that fostering harmony and strengthening communal bonds are critical steps towards achieving lasting peace and sustainable development in the state and beyond.
According to him, unity remains the bedrock upon which meaningful development and collective progress can be achieved, especially in a diverse society like Nigeria.
He further called on citizens to use the occasion of Easter to renew their commitment to peaceful coexistence and nation-building, noting that every individual has a role to play in promoting stability.
Hon. Ibrahim also encouraged Christians and other Nigerians to sustain prayers for peace, unity and prosperity, particularly in Kaduna State, which has continued to strive for lasting stability.
While wishing Christians a joyful and blessed Easter celebration, he reaffirmed his commitment to promoting inclusiveness, peace and development across Kaduna Central Senatorial District.
