A respected stakeholder in Zamfara State, Alhaji Bukar Ibrahim Gummi, has paid a glowing tribute to the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ibrahim Shehu Bakauye Gusau, describing him as a visionary leader, patriot, and a symbol of hope whose leadership qualities continue to inspire confidence among the people of the state.
In a special commendation message issued on Wednesday, Gummi praised Bakauye Gusau for what he described as his unwavering commitment to the peace, unity, and development of Zamfara State, saying his dedication to public service has earned him admiration across different communities.
He noted that Bakauye Gusau remains one of the few leaders who have consistently demonstrated generosity, wisdom, courage, and determination in addressing the challenges facing the people, particularly in the areas of youth empowerment, social welfare, and community development.
According to him, the PDP governorship candidate has continued to distinguish himself through humility, accessibility, and a deep sense of responsibility toward the wellbeing of ordinary citizens, qualities he said have strengthened public confidence in his leadership.
“Indeed, you are among the leaders who have dedicated their lives to ensuring progress, peace, and prosperity for the people. Your generosity, determination, wisdom, and commitment to unity have made many people see you as a leader capable of bringing new hope and meaningful development to Zamfara State,” Gummi stated.
He added that many residents of the state now see Bakauye Gusau as a dependable leader with the vision and capacity to reposition Zamfara on the path of growth, stability, and economic advancement.
Gummi further expressed confidence that if entrusted with leadership, Bakauye Gusau would govern with justice, honesty, fairness, and sincerity of purpose while giving priority attention to the welfare of youths, women, elders, and vulnerable groups across the state.
He said the governorship hopeful possesses the experience and leadership qualities needed to unite the people and create an atmosphere that would encourage development, peace, and prosperity.
