Ramadan: Engr. Huzaifa Usman Supports 500 Vulnerable Families In Kaduna North

An engineer and humanitarian, Huzaifa Usman, has distributed Ramadan and Eid palliative packages to over 500 vulnerable residents across Kaduna North Local Government Area as part of efforts to support families during the holy month of Ramadan.

The intervention, which targeted widows, the elderly and other vulnerable groups, was aimed at easing the economic hardship currently faced by many households and enabling them to observe the fasting period with dignity.

Items distributed during the exercise included bags of rice, assorted grains, wrappers and other essential household materials meant to assist beneficiaries in preparing meals during Ramadan and ahead of the forthcoming Eid celebration.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, Huzaifa said the initiative was inspired by the spirit of compassion and generosity that defines the holy month of Ramadan.

According to him, Ramadan is a period that encourages kindness, unity and support for the less privileged, stressing that those who are blessed have a responsibility to extend helping hands to people in need.

He explained that the support was meant to ensure that vulnerable families in Kaduna North could also partake in the blessings of Ramadan and celebrate Eid with a sense of hope and belonging.

Huzaifa, who is the son of Kaduna-based philanthropist and politician, Usman Ibrahim, popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa, said the gesture was also in continuation of the family’s long-standing tradition of supporting the less privileged.

His father, Sardaunan Badarawa, is widely known in Kaduna State for humanitarian activities and grassroots support, which have earned him recognition for consistently putting smiles on the faces of the masses.

Beneficiaries who spoke during the event expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing the intervention as timely, especially at a period when many families are grappling with rising food prices and economic difficulties.

They prayed for the benefactor and called on other well-meaning individuals to emulate the initiative in order to cushion the hardship faced by vulnerable members of society during the Ramadan season.
