A Foundation known as Huzaifa has distributed grains, milk, sugar, Lipton, tomato paste and other essential food items to the needy and lass privileged within Kaduna North Local Government a
Area of Kaduna State.
While supervising the distribution of the items in Hayin Banki, Badarawa and other communities located in metropolitan area of the state capital, Chairman/CEO of Huzaifa Foundation, Engr. Huzaifa Usman Ibrahim said he was motivated by his father, Sardaunan Badarawa, one time Kaduna North Council Chairman and Kaduna Central PDP Senatorial Candidate whom he disclosed had always preached and practised the acts of charity; giving alms to the needy and doing good to the society so the less privileged could have a cause to smile.
Explaining further, the Junior Usman Ibrahim added that his father had been the source of  encouragement that led to the birth of the foundation solely for humanitarian and Philanthropic commitments to the poor, orphans, travellers widows and other vulnerable members within the society with focus on Kaduna North as a primary constituency.
The project tagged “Ramadan Feeding Project” he submitted would provide essential food items to 5000 beneficiaries carefully selected for impacts on people in the grassroots.
“I have deliberately ensured food to be distributed cut across edibles consumed by middle class, infact eaten in homes of the rich to give the poor feelings of class and true sense of belonging.
“In the light of the above, I integrated milk, lipton, sugar, biscuits, rice, spaghetti,  tomato paste and beverages in the menu being distributed here today and in subsequent days of this noble project.
“It is worthy of mention also that my dad and I drew our inspiration from our Holy Prophet Muhammad who has in several exigencies charged Muslims and mankind in general to be generous and kind  to people within their reach and even beyond so the world can be a better place to live in.
“I am determined to ensure sustainability of this project of feeding the needy as long as it takes.
“The gap between the high and low class has constantly been widened due to abject and perpetual poverty.
“There’s need to breach the gap by those blessed with opulence within the society for growth and happiness of our people,” he preached.
