In furtherance of ensuring the success of his core mandate, the Force Commander (FC), Multinational Joint Taskforce (MNJTF), Major General Abdul Khalifah Ibrahim paid a maiden operational visit to HQs Sector 3 Monguno and 19 Brigade Baga on Thursday August 12 2021.
The Commander, Sector 3, Brigadier General GM Mutkut briefed the FC on ongoing operations and other administrative matters.
The FC was accompanied by Chiefs of J2, J3, MPIO, SO1 J4, PSO-FC and SO3 MPIO
During the visit, the FC addressed troops at both Headquarters Sector 3 Monguno and19 Brigade co- located with 403 SF Bde in Baga.
He told the troops to continue to be disciplined and to maintain the tempo of the operations. He warned them about the danger of misusing social media and asked them to be battle ready, as well as courageous at all times.
He used the visit to inspect Medical Services Hospital at HQ Sector 3.
The FC also, handed over water treatment machine to Commander Sector 3.
As part of morale booster, the FC visited troops` locations at Fish Dam and Doron Baga town.
He also took.advantage of the visit to address some people at Baga town, where he encouraged them to continue to cooperate and share information with the troops.
