Kajuru LG Election: Mr. LA Congratulates PDP For Winning Chairmanship, 9 Councillors

…Says Outcome Message For APC To Quit In 2023


A Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party ( PDP), Hon. Lawal Adamu popularly known as Mr. LA has expressed satisfaction with outcome of Kajuru Local Government Election which gave the opposition a landslide over the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in a keenly contested election held Saturday, September 25, 2023.
The results as announced by the returning officer, Dr. Ibrahim DanMaraya from Kaduna State University (KASU) showed PDP’s Chairmanship candidate polled a total of 14, 432 votes to floor Cafra Caino, candidate of the ruling party, APC who got 9, 095 votes.
Commenting on the result, Mr. LA described as a quit  notice  from the electorate to the ruling party in the state to start preparing handover note before 2023 General Election, saying the hardship and other avoidable problems bedevilling Kaduna people could not be condoned anymore.
He lauded audacity, patriotism and  doggedness of the Kajuru people for making their voices heard through the ballots, assuring them that their sacrifice won’t be taken for granted .
Mr. LA who was candidate of PDP in 2019 Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone election pointed out that barrage of inconveniences residents of Kaduna had been subjected to by the present administration in the state would soon be a thing of the past if the opposition party succeeds in taking power at both state and federal level.
“My party has learned from the past infractions and is now ready like never before to make amendments by ensuring issues that have direct impacts on the masses are given first priorities.
“We will be responsive and  proactive in fixing Nigeria’s battered economy and introduce measures capable of providing conducive environment for our teeming population to showcase and thrive through individual talent.
“We want to build a society where everyone irrespective of their social status can rise to the top and become somebody, this should be our legacy” he said .
