Lawal Adamu, popularly called Mr. La in honour of eight newly elected  councillors of the party whom he described as warriors for beating candidates of APC in wards with highest number of voters in Kaduna North.
Mr. La who was PDP Kaduna Central Senatorial candidate in 2019 general election noted that winning eight out of 12 wards by his party was a pointer to what would play out in 2023 of the opposition’s taking over the seats of power at state and federal level.
He stated  that politics and elections in local, insisting that only popular parties at grassroots would have a field day during  elections, adding that 2023 would be a watershed in political history of Nigeria, which according to him would witness a massive turnout of voters clamoring for genuine change and a pro masses governments at all levels.
The international businessman lamented perpetual and abject poverty he said Nigerians had been subjected to for the past six years the APC took over mantle of leadership in Kaduna State and Nigeria in general, urging the electorate to vote APC out in the next general election to save the present and future generations.
“The deteriorating situations in the country are lamentable and need urgent intervention before we find ourselves in irredeemable point.
“The economy is in tatters, naira has plundered to a sorry state, unemployment in its worst stage and the government seems unconcerned about the plights of the masses.
“Kaduna people in particular are the most unfortunate of all because they have a governor who doesn’t have an atom of compassion for them, all that matters to him is to inflict hardship and more hardship on his state.
“It is time We rescued our dear state from the grip  of these heartless self-serving men in power who are only concerned about jamborees and flying all over the world at the expense of tax payers,” he urged.
On rising insecurity across the country, Kaduna in particular, the politician suggested the use of local population for intelligence gathering and deployment of modern methods of fighting crime and criminalities in the society.
He disclosed that use of drones, CCTV cameras, modern surveillance equipment among others would help and compliment efforts of security operatives, the army in particular which  he said had won laurels in peacekeeping mission abroad and had been adjudged as the best Africa.
