…discuss plans for the upcoming 7th edition of the festival
The Executive Director of the Kaduna International Film Festival have paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Government to discuss the exciting plans for the upcoming 7th edition of the festival.
The organizers explained that the visit is also to familiarize with the state government on the importance of the festival to the socio-economic development of the state.
Receiving the delegations, the kaduna Deputy Governor of the state, Dr . Hadiza Balarabe Sabuwa Reaffirms state government commitment towards promoting film festivals in the state .
She expressed State Government’ enthusiasm for the event and pledged unwavering support, acknowledging that the vast economic opportunities that the film industry holds is for fostering job creation and wealth generation among the youth.
Responding, the Director of the Kaduna Film Festival who is also the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Film Festival,Mr. Isaac Israel said the visit is to inform the state Government of its activities lined up. For the event.
Mr. Isreal also highlighted that esteemed veterans and actors from both within the country and beyond will be in attendance to offer their support and inspiration to the budding talents in the film industry.
He added that the festival is set to take place from August 27th to 31st, promising a diverse program including engaging lecture and seminar series, captivating film screenings, and prestigious award ceremonies celebrating talented actors and individuals.
