Ahead of 2027, Sadiq Mamman Lagos Rallies Ward Leaders, Launches G-75 Mobilisation Network

In a strategic move to further consolidate the political base of Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Director General of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group (SUSSG), Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has held a high-level engagement with APC leaders and stakeholders from Unguwan Dosa and Badarawa/Malali Wards.

The meeting, which took place at the ward level, was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and ensure sustained political support for Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) in the forthcoming elections.

Addressing participants, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos emphasised that the success of any political project rests on a solid grassroots foundation, noting that Governor Uba Sani’s people-centred governance must be matched with an equally strong political structure from the ward level upward.

He explained that the engagement was designed to bring together experienced, credible and committed grassroots politicians who understand the dynamics of local politics and can effectively mobilise support within their respective communities.

As a major outcome of the meeting, stakeholders were directed to establish a ward-based political structure known as G-75, which will serve as the engine room for mobilisation and political engagement ahead of 2027.

The G-75 structure, according to the Commissioner, will comprise 75 members in each ward, made up of 40 women and 35 men, in line with the administration’s commitment to inclusivity, gender balance and youth participation in politics.

To demonstrate his commitment to grassroots empowerment and the smooth take-off of the initiative, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos donated 10 bags of rice and the sum of ₦1,000,000 to each of the two wards, describing the gesture as support for mobilisation activities and welfare of party faithful.

The meeting attracted several notable dignitaries, including Amb. Yerima Shettima, Hon Usman Ibrahim (Sardaunan Badarawa), Kaduna Central Senatorial aspirants, Hon. Al-Amin Dabo (Bosa), the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hajiya Amina Sani Bello, Special Senior Assistant on Students’ Matters, Dr. Ishaq Mai-Shanu, and the Secretary of Kaduna North Local Government.

Also present were leaders of support movements, including Hon. Shehu Sado of the President Capacity Movement, who reaffirmed their readiness to work with the G-75 structure to ensure overwhelming victory for the APC in 2027.

In a show of solidarity, the President Capacity Movement and two Kaduna Central Senatorial aspirants jointly donated an additional ₦1,000,000 to the G-75 structure in Badarawa Ward to further strengthen mobilisation efforts.

The engagement once again highlighted Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos’ consistent drive to build a strong, people-driven and sustainable political structure, positioning Governor Uba Sani and the APC for success in the 2027 general elections.
