Again, Jamilu Awarded For Outstanding Contributions In Credit Risk Management Globally

The recently conferred Fellow and Certified Management Consultant, FIMC, CMC of Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria, Jamilu Auwalu Adamu, has been presented with a prestigious award from the Guild of Online Journalists, alongside four others in Kano State.
Jamilu who is an indigene of Kano is a staff of National Mathematical Centre; and a world renowned expert in Financial Risk Management was awarded by the Guild for his tremendous contributions to areas of credit risk management globally.
It would be recalled in July 2015, Jamilu within first six months of his PhD with ABU, Zaria, invented “Jameel’s Criterion, Jameel’s Contractional-Expansional Stress Methods, Assets and Derivatives Non-Normal Brownian Motion Models, and Jameel’s Substitutions” to link the models with IFRS 9 all out of his PhD research findings.
In 2017, Jamilu’s work was cited as “Logical Optimized model of Trustworthy Mathematical and Trendy Advanced Stressed Crises Compound of Pricing Models” by Dr. Jayashri Shankar Suravase at 3rd ETEBMS 2017 (published).
Consequently in 2018, Jamilu was appointed as the only Nigerian Associate Editor and a Reviewer of risk.net where Robert F. Engle, the Michael Armellino Professor of Finance, New York University, 2003 Nobel Prize in Economics, Edward Altman, Max L. Heine, Professor of Finance,  New York University, 1984 Laureate and one of the “100 Influential People in Finance” and Inventors such as Professors John Hull and Robert Jarrow were all  Associate Editors. 
Same year, Jamilu was appointed Editor, International Economics and Management Sciences, New York City and Peer-Reviewer, Journal International Economics, Italy among others.
To add to his achievements, Jamilu founded White-Horse Risk Management Training and Consultancy Ltd and was a former President, Academic Staff Union of Inter-University Centres (ASUIC) and has published numerous International Journal articles and Five (5) Books in Areas of Financial Risk Management.
Jamilu received numerous awards and prizes including Best Level I, II, III, Dr. Saeed Ul-Islam prize and Governor Ibrahim Shekarau Prizes for Best Graduating Student in Mathematics (2006).
Jamilu was one  of  nine (9) Steering Committee Members of PRMIA, Nigeria Chapter.
In his remarks at the occasion, President Guild of Online Journalists, Comrade Amos Mathew said that the group draws membership from all over Nigeria.
“Our membership will soon extend beyond the shores of the country as we are getting online media practitioners from other countries indicating interest in joining.
“As a professional body, we promote good governance and discourage spreading of fake news. Our members are carefully selected and are journalists that have integrity.
“The beneficiaries of these awards were carefully chosen from different spheres of life. They are all achievers who have contributed meaningfully to the development of their individual states in particular and Nigeria in general. I am optimistic this ward will sour them into doing more,” he said.
Others presented with the awards were Engr. Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Alhaji Ibrahim M. Ida, Munawwar Ahmed Qayyum, and Honourable Kudla M. Satumari.
