Kaduna Witnessing Unprecedented Development Under Uba Sani, Says Sadiq Mamman Lagos

As Governor Uba Sani marks three years in office, it is both fitting and necessary to reflect on the remarkable strides his administration has recorded in Kaduna State.

In a period characterized by economic challenges and security concerns across the country, Governor Uba Sani has demonstrated resilience, vision, and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the people of Kaduna State.

I, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, the commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy affairs, wish to commend the governor for the giant strides recorded across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

His administration has continued to place the welfare of the people at the center of governance, ensuring that development reaches every part of Kaduna State irrespective of political, religious, or ethnic considerations.

One of the most notable achievements of Governor Uba Sani’s administration is the transformation of the healthcare sector. The upgrading of numerous Primary Healthcare Centres across the state and the completion of the long-abandoned 300-bed Specialist Hospital have significantly improved access to quality healthcare services for citizens.

These interventions have strengthened the state’s healthcare delivery system and brought medical services closer to the people.

In the education sector, Governor Uba Sani has distinguished himself as a leader committed to human capital development.

His decision to reduce tuition fees in state-owned tertiary institutions by 50 percent brought relief to thousands of students and their families. The construction of new schools, renovation of classrooms, and expansion of educational opportunities have further demonstrated his commitment to building a brighter future for Kaduna’s younger generation.

The agricultural sector has equally received unprecedented attention under his administration. Through the distribution of free fertilizers and other agricultural inputs to thousands of farmers, the government has boosted food production, enhanced rural livelihoods, and strengthened food security across the state.

Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to infrastructure development is visible across the state. Road construction and rehabilitation projects have improved connectivity, enhanced economic activities, and opened up rural communities for greater development.

His administration has also prioritized water supply, vocational education, youth empowerment, and investment promotion, all geared towards creating a prosperous and self-reliant Kaduna State.

Furthermore, the governor’s inclusive style of leadership has promoted peace, unity, and social cohesion. Through dialogue, community engagement, and people-oriented policies, he has fostered a governance culture that accommodates all segments of society while encouraging citizen participation in the development process.

As Kaduna State celebrates this significant milestone, I congratulate Governor Uba Sani on his achievements over the past three years.

His dedication to service, commitment to development, and passion for the welfare of the people remain worthy of commendation. I am confident that the years ahead will bring even greater progress and prosperity to Kaduna State under his leadership.
