Honourable Usman Ibrahim, popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa, has picked his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest for the Kaduna Central Senatorial seat.
The former Kaduna North Local Government Chairman said his decision to run under the PDP reflects his commitment to a people-oriented agenda anchored on equity, justice, and inclusive development.
Hon. Ibrahim declared that he is seeking the mandate of the people to provide effective and responsive representation that will address the pressing needs of constituents across the senatorial district.
He assured that, if elected, he would prioritise policies and legislative interventions that promote economic growth, youth empowerment, and improved social welfare for the people of Kaduna Central.
The aspirant noted that his years of experience in public service have equipped him with the capacity to deliver on the expectations of the electorate and make meaningful contributions at the National Assembly.
He recalled his tenure as Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government, where he implemented grassroots-driven initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and strengthening community engagement.
Beyond his public service record, Sardaunan Badarawa is widely regarded as a philanthropist who has positively impacted many lives through empowerment programmes, scholarship schemes, and humanitarian support.
Supporters believe his accessibility, leadership style, and consistent outreach efforts have endeared him to many across communities in the state.
