Christmas: Sadiq Mamman Lagos Backs Uba Sani’s Inclusive Agenda, Shares 600 Bags of Rice in Kaduna

In a move aimed at promoting unity, inclusiveness and support for vulnerable citizens, the Director General of the Senator Uba Sani Support Group, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has distributed 600 bags of rice to Christian members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State to mark the Christmas and 2026 New Year celebrations.

The distribution, which took place across Zone Three of the state, was targeted at party loyalists and grassroots supporters, particularly Christians, as part of efforts to share in the joy of the season and ease the economic burden associated with the festive period.

Hon. Lagos said the initiative was designed to complement the people-centred policies and inclusive governance style of Governor Uba Sani, noting that the administration has consistently promoted unity, equity and peaceful coexistence among Kaduna’s diverse population.

According to him, the gesture reflects the values of compassion and collective responsibility that underpin the Governor’s leadership, adding that development and good governance must go hand in hand with empathy for citizens at the grassroots.

“This intervention is about standing with the people and reinforcing the message that Kaduna belongs to everyone, irrespective of faith or background.

“Governor Uba Sani’s administration has demonstrated that inclusive leadership remains the foundation for peace and progress, and we are proud to support that vision.” he said.

Beneficiaries of the distribution commended the gesture, describing it as timely and symbolic, especially at a period when many families are grappling with economic challenges.

They also lauded the Governor’s commitment to unity and inclusive governance, noting that the outreach further strengthens trust and solidarity among party members and communities across the state.

The rice distribution forms part of ongoing efforts by stakeholders and support groups within the APC to support government initiatives, strengthen grassroots engagement and promote harmony during festive periods in Kaduna State.
