The daughter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Hon. Usman Ibrahim, popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa and San Turakin Hausa, Aisha Usman Ibrahim, has married Hamza Umar Salah.
The wedding ceremony was held on Saturday, September 27, 2026, at the palace of the Emir of Zazzau in Zaria, Kaduna State, amid the presence of family members, political leaders, traditional rulers and other distinguished guests.
The ceremony attracted prominent personalities from across the country, who gathered to celebrate with the families of the bride and groom and to witness the joining of the couple in matrimony.
Among those who graced the occasion was former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammad Namadi Sambo, who joined other dignitaries in celebrating the union.
Also in attendance was the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, who hosted the ceremony at his palace and offered prayers for the newly married couple.
The former Governor of Kaduna State, Hon. Muktar Ramalan Yaro, was also among the dignitaries present at the wedding ceremony, alongside the Kaduna State PDP governorship candidate, Hon. Shehu Usman Bawa, popularly known as ABG, and other political leaders, community figures and well-wishers.
Speaking after the ceremony, the bride’s father, Hon. Usman Ibrahim, expressed appreciation to all the dignitaries, family members, friends and well-wishers who honoured his family with their presence and prayers during the wedding.
He thanked the guests for taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate with the families of the bride and groom, describing their presence as a demonstration of love, goodwill and support for the newlyweds.
Hon. Usman Ibrahim also prayed for Allah to bless the marriage of Aisha Usman Ibrahim and Hamza Umar Salah, asking Him to grant them peace, love, understanding and a lasting union, as well as righteous and blessed offspring (Zuri’a Tayyiba).
