…receives Guild of Online Journalists Award

One of the reasons that the Womanhood School Of Health Sciences was set up is to ensure that quality middle cadre health workers are provided to health centres.

Director of Womanhood School Of Health Sciences, Nurudeen Bello reechoed this in his remarks after the institution received an award of Excellence from Guild of Online Journalists in Kaduna on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

The Director Said that in view of their quest for excellence, they have been working round the clock.

“We have been working round the clock in ensuring the students are well trained,” he said.

He thanked the guild for the honour done to the school.

“To the Guild of Online Journalists, we appreciate what you have done for us today. It shows you have been following our progress.

“We will partner with you. We believe in you and we believe you have followership and that we can leverage on it,” he added.

In his remarks, Vice President of the Guild of Online Journalists, Comrade Ibrahim DAHIRU Danfulani said that the award of Excellence to Womanhood School of Health Sciences was in recognition of its steadfastness in producing quality health workers.

“This is in recognition of the achievement recorded by the school in contributing to healthy well being of Nigerians through graduating quality health practitioners.

“We are happy to note that the school now has three campuses in three Northern States. We are optimistic that with the quality of management and staff, soon we believe nationally the school will be known,” he added.

He said another essence of the visit besides the award presentation is to partner with the school and promote its activities, informing that the guild which was formed about five years ago, has a membership strength of over 2,000, scattered across Nigeria and some African countries.

“Whenever you have a programme, just let us know we will syndicate and publish it,” he assured.

Too Management staff of the school, led by its Registrar, Hauwa Abubakar, as well as students were on hand to join the director in receiving the award.

It would be recalled that the school which started in Kaduna, now has branches in Gombe and Kano.
