Speaking on the significance of the initiative, KADIFF reiterated its commitment to identifying and nurturing emerging talents, promoting Nigerian films and creating opportunities for filmmakers to showcase their works to wider audiences.
The collaboration between KADIFF and the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria also underscores the growing importance of international partnerships in developing the creative industry and encouraging cultural exchange between Nigeria and other countries.
Through initiatives such as the short film contest, both organisations seek to provide emerging filmmakers with opportunities to develop their storytelling skills, gain recognition and contribute to the growth of the Nigerian film industry.
The partnership further demonstrates how cinema can serve as a bridge between cultures, bringing people together through shared stories, creativity and artistic expression.
