SUSSG Pledges to Mobilise Massive Support for Uba Sani, Tinubu Ahead of 2027 Polls

The Senator Uba Sani Support Group (SUSSG) has reaffirmed its commitment to sustained grassroots mobilisation in support of Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group, led by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, who also serves as its Director General, made the pledge over the weekend at the APC mega rally in Kaduna where thousands of opposition members defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling party.

Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos said the SUSSG turned out in their thousands to celebrate the massive defection and to show solidarity with Governor Uba Sani, whose administration, he noted, has transformed Kaduna State through purposeful leadership and people-oriented governance.

“The APC has come to stay in Kaduna State. Under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, the party has proved to be trustworthy and dependable. We are here in solidarity to give our amiable governor full support,” Mamman Lagos said.

He described the large turnout of party supporters and the wave of defections as a reflection of the governor’s popularity and the people’s confidence in his developmental strides across sectors.

“From the thousands of decampees today, it is clear that our governor is loved by the good people of Kaduna State. His achievements speak for themselves, they are visible and verifiable,” he stated.

The Director General expressed gratitude to God for blessing Kaduna State with a compassionate and visionary leader, adding that the SUSSG will not relent in its mobilisation efforts across the state.

“We will continue to mobilise women and youths to support this government at the national, state, and local government levels. Our goal is to ensure total victory for our great party, the APC, and its leaders, Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” he affirmed.

He further commended the unity and loyalty within the party’s structure in Kaduna State, describing Governor Uba Sani’s administration as a “model of inclusive and responsive governance.”

The SUSSG, which has consistently played a leading role in grassroots engagement and political sensitisation across the 23 local government areas, has pledged to intensify its community-based outreach programmes to consolidate the gains of the current administration.

Party leaders at the rally lauded the group’s steadfastness, describing it as one of the most organised and influential political structures supporting the APC in Kaduna.
