GPFN Donates Books To Over 100 Primary School Children In Commemoration Of International Children’s Day 

A Non-Governmental Organization known as Global Peace Foundation Nigeria (GPFN) has donated books to over hundred primary school children as part of its commitment to mark this year international children’s day.

The Country Director, GPFN Rev. Dr. John Joseph Hayab, who made the donation to Hayin Banki Community primary school, Kaduna North LGA of Kaduna state, focused on promoting love, unity, and the importance of embracing diversity among children.

Addressing more than a hundred school children in the school, Rev. Hayab encouraged them to view each other as siblings, embracing love and compassion to ensure a peaceful and sustainable future.

 He inspired the children with hopes that among them could be future governors, senators, and possibly a President.

In his interaction, Rev. Hayab educated the children on the sanctity of fundamental human rights and the oneness of humanity. 

Rev. Hayab, opined that human beings are members of one big esteem family which is the Family of Adam and Eve and therefore urged the children to embrace one another irrespective of their differences.

He added that fostering unity, love and tolerance, amongst the children will inspire hope, inculcate discipline even as they remain future Leaders.

Thanking GPFN for the kind gesture, the Sarkin Hayin Banki Community,  Alhaji Mahmud Galadima appreciated the NGO for choosing his community as part of her peace building project.

He declared that himself alongside other community stakeholders will do everything within their reach to provide the children an enabling environment where every one will see themselves as one indivisible family.

In her remarks, the principal, Hayin Banki Community primary school Kaduna, represented by the Assistant Admin, Mrs. Bekisu Oyokhuku Ikharo, expressed gratitude to the foundation for celebrating with the children in the spirit of oneness.

She added that they will continue to build the children as peace ambassadors until lasting peace tantamount for sustainable growth and development is adequately imparted.
