*Moves to promote inclusive governance in Nigeria
The National Youth Alliance (NYA) will hold its National Inauguration Ceremony and the Unveiling of its Official Website and Digital Portal on Monday, 26th January, 2026, at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, by 10:00 AM prompt.
The event marks a significant milestone in the NYA’s mission to promote inclusive governance and deepen meaningful youth participation across Nigeria.
A statement signed by Youth President National Youth Alliance, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, made available to newsmen in Kaduna through his SA Media and Publicity, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, explained that the ceremony will be chaired by Chief Otunba Segun Showunmi, former Spokesperson, PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, while Professor Ahmed Adamu, Dean, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Philomath University, Abuja, will deliver the keynote address as Guest Speaker.
Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi, Member of the House of Representatives representing Gummi/Bukkuyum Federal Constituency, Zamfara State, and Chairman, House Committee on North West Development Commission, will attend as the Special Guest of Honour. The event will also feature Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as Mother of the Day.
A major highlight of the inauguration is the official unveiling of the NYA website and digital portal, designed to enhance youth engagement, transparency, and nationwide coordination.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Youth President of the NYA, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, reaffirmed the Alliance’s commitment to building a new generation of visionary, responsible, and patriotic Nigerian leaders.
