The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Kaduna State and Director-General of the Sen. Uba Sani Support Group, Sadiq Mamman Lagos, has unveiled a robust grassroots-driven strategy aimed at securing a sweeping victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in the forthcoming general elections.
At a strategic engagement with stakeholders of Shaba and Gaji Wards held at the Sen. Uba Sani Campaign Office on Rabah Road, Kaduna, the Commissioner said the pathway to victory lies in consolidating ward-level structures and empowering trusted community mobilisers.
He noted that Kaduna North remains pivotal to the overall success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Mamman Lagos explained that the re-election bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Uba Sani would be anchored on an expanded grassroots political network known as the G-75 a coalition of seasoned ward politicians tasked with voter mobilisation, door-to-door engagement and community feedback coordination.
According to him, the G-75 structure will serve as the backbone of the campaign across polling units, ensuring that party messages resonate directly with households while countering misinformation.
He stressed that elections are won not merely through rallies but through consistent presence at the grassroots.
To demonstrate commitment to welfare and solidarity, the Commissioner announced a donation of ₦1,000,000 to stakeholders in each of the two wards, alongside 1,000 bags of rice per ward for distribution during the holy month of Ramadan.
He said the intervention was not just political but a reaffirmation of the administration’s concern for the wellbeing of residents.
Lagos maintained that strategic empowerment of ward leaders strengthens loyalty and unity within the party, adding that inclusive consultation and financial backing would enhance operational efficiency during the campaign season.
He urged stakeholders to intensify voter registration drives, strengthen polling unit surveillance and promote the achievements of both the federal and state administrations in security, infrastructure, youth empowerment and social welfare.
Also present at the meeting were Hon. Sani Rabiu Bako, Executive Chairman of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission, and Hon. Shettima Yarima, Kaduna Central Senatorial Aspirant of the APC, who both pledged their commitment to mobilising support across their respective constituencies.
The Commissioner concluded by expressing confidence that with unity, strategic planning and sustained grassroots engagement, Kaduna North would deliver overwhelming votes for the APC, affirming that the party’s victory in the coming general election would be secured through organisation, discipline and people-centred politics.
