2021 Graduation: NAOWA Brigade Holds Speech, Price Giving Day For Nursery, Primary

As part of efforts to reward excellent performance and hard work for pupils of NAOWA Guards Brigade Nursery and primary School Mambilla Barracks Asokoro, the  Zonal Coordinator Nigerian Army Officer’s Wives Association (NAOWA) Guards Brigade Chapter, Pharm( Mrs) Rakiya Usman organized  speech and price giving day for graduating pupils of primary 5 and Nursery 2 respectively.
The event which was held at the Mambilla Barracks Officers Mess Multi purpose hall was put together to reward excellence and hard work for outstanding and  graduating pupils.
Declaring the event open, the Coordinator NAOWA Guards Brigade, Pharm (Mrs) Rekiya Usman in her remarks expressed gratitude to God almighty for keeping both the pupils and teachers safe to the end of the academic year. She also appreciated the invaluable contributions of the parents for their supports  and ensuring that pupils of the school successfully completed their works without difficulties. 
She commended their efforts and urged them to always remain available for both the pupils and the school.On the part of the graduating pupils, Mrs Usman congratulated them and wished them greater and better future ahead.
 In same vein, the Head Teacher Mrs Halima Abubakar while appreciating the graduating pupils thanked their parents for gracing the occasion. She noted that the graduating pupils would forever remember the day as it marks their departure to a higher academic future. Mrs Abubakar stated further that the continuous support and efforts of  the school Coordinator has continued to impact positively on the student and teachers alike. 
She added that the recent step by the Coordinator to review the school syllabus has no doubt placed the students on a higher pedestal and put the teaching and non teaching staff in better position to understand and better manage the class room. She noted that the giant stride recorded within her short period in office has proven that she’s a worthy ambassador and good mother to all.
Mrs Abubakar added that aside improving the welfare of both teaching and non teaching staff, the school recently established recreational and academic clubs to further enhance pupils skills and professional conducts which has ultimately improved the wellbeing of all. She expressed gratitude and assured that the school would continue to leverage on all platforms established to improve the pupils within the school.
High point of the event were presentation of special awards to outstanding pupils and graduating students.There was also debate and drama presentations by various categories of the school academic clubs.
The event was attended by the Commander Guards Brigade Garrison, Lt Col Joshua Okwoli who also represented the Comd Guards Brigade and his wife, the education Officer Guards Brigade Maj  YA Shuiabu, parents and  members of NAOWA.
