As goodwill messages continue to pour from across Nigeria and beyond to congratulate Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on his victory at the Supreme Court affirming his Second term election as Sokoto Governor, former Member, House of Representatives, Shehu ABG has joined other well wishers in congratulating Governor Tambuwal , saying his victory at the Apex Court was a testimony that he was the true winner of the election.
In a press statement, the former legislator said Governor Tambuwal had achieved so much for Sokoto people in his first term touching virtually every aspect of their lives, according to him it was not out of place when in March last year people of Sokoto state overwhelmingly elected Tambuwal for a second term.
He recalled how Governor Tambuwal carried them along as Speaker of the Lower Chamber, adding that all Members were given equal opportunities in House committees and were fairly treated at Floor of the House, according to him these were attributes that won Tambuwal the hearts of his people that they urged him to be Governor of his state after completing his assignments as the head of the Lower Chamber , he said.
” Leaders who put interests of their people above personal advantage deserve to be acknowledged by being elected into public offices so the electorates would gain dividends of democracy in all spheres of their endeavors.
