In an effort to reward hardwork, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking and other Financial Institution, Senator Uba Sani, has emerged as the best Senator 2019 by BIZI Mobile Cashless Consultants Ltd.
Uba Sani emerged as the Best Senator of the year 2019 in a ceremony held at government house, Kano.
Other recipients of the award included the Kano state governor, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Mr Godwin Emefiele, Sen Ibrahim Shekarau and a host of others.
Speaking, the Managing Director (MD)/ Chief Executive Officer (COE) of Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Limited, Dr Aminu Aminu Bizi, said Uba Sani emerged as the best Senator of the year in that category because of his contribution towards boosting the financial institutions in the country.
“The best Senator of the year award category was choosen by the Financial Inslusion Committee and Sen Uba Sani was selected because of his perfomerns as the first senator that pushed for the implimentation of financial institution policy,” Bizi said.
Speaking on behalf of the the winners, Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who was represented by the Secretary to State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, said it was an award well deserved by the recipients.
Ganduje thanked the organiser for choosing Kano State as the best state for e- Revenue collection in Nigeria.
