Former Member House Of Representatives, Hon. Shehu Bawa ABG has congratulated Christians across the country for witnessing yet another Christmas, just as he urged the good people of Kaduna State to continue to live in peace and harmony.
He said Christmas was a season to demonstrate love for one another, through giving and peaceful coexistence, adding that such love and generosity and craving for peace should extend beyond the season.
ABG in a Christmas message to the people of Kaduna State said it was only through a practical demonstration of love, peaceful coexistence with one another that people of the state can unite and forge ahead in the crucial task of nation building.
He challenged the people of the state and the country in general to use the opportunity of the season to reflect on individual and collective contributions to the peace and progress of their immediate community and the state in general.
He noted that Christmas was not just about celebration, but rather a period to take stock and reflect on our relationship with God.
While noting that being alive to witness another Christmas remains a privilege, which calls for celebration, he however advised that celebration should be done in moderation for the overall good of the country.
He however, lamented the current economic bottlenecks experienced across the country, urging Nigerians to be patient and solicited their prayers towards having a prosperous nation.
