Former Interim Chairman of Kaduna North , Hon. Usman Ibrahim has expressed his delight over the success recorded by Nigerian Police who rescued the District Head Of Daura, Alh. Musa Umar Daura from Kidnappers’ den in Kano.
The Magajin Garin Daura was abducted by unknown gunmen from his palace in Daura almost two Months ago before he was rescued.
Hon Ibrahim who holds the traditional title of ‘Santurakin Hausa’ from Daura described the success recorded by police special Team headed by Abba Kyari, a Deputy Commissioner of Police as an indication of professionalism of the police under the leadership of the present Inspector General of Police (IGP), Adamu Muhammad who he described as a highly professional cop whom he said had turned around the covert operational capability of the police force.
According to him ” president Buhari has made a wise decision for appointing the present IGP who despite the current security challenges particularly in northern part of Nigeria has been able to make his impacts felt by Citizens.
“When the news broke out of the abduction of the Magajin Garin Daura, the IGP has not relented , he gave a marching order to the Cops under him who were capable hands to trail the kidnappers to wherever they may have taken the kidnapped District Head to.
“We must therefore, support President Buhari in his drive and determination to address the current security challenges in the Country. ” He said.
Hon Ibrahim also commended Governor Aminu Bello Masari, Emir Of Daura for their concerted efforts and prayers towards the safe return of the District Head, adding that their concern for the  safety of their subjects was an indication of their selflessness and their commitment for welfare of katsina people.
